Works well on an itchy scalp
Love this. Works well with my itchy scalp which can be slightly flaky too if I don't use an anti dandruff shampoo. I would say this acts like an anti dandruff shampoo. Leaves my greasy hair squeaky clean. Love it :)

Excellent product
We have been using Dr Organic products for many years. They are superb, very economical to use and give great results. The tea tree has worked marvellously well at keeping dandruff at bay. Can't recommend their products highly enough.
A little oily
I have thick hair and quite a sensitive scalp, this shampoo has helped my scalp so much but I've found using this shampoo along with the conditioner leaves a slightly oily coating on my hair which I really dislike, it really doesn't feel exactly soft to the touch.

Fab product
Smells great, hair feels really clean and shiny and stays that way for a day longer than with my regular brand
Great Product
Been using it for a few das and is really great, smells good and leaves hair squeaky clean and fresh. Will be buying again.
Naturalmente delicato
Finally a natural shampoo for sensitive skin that does its duty.
smells good.
Smells great and feels good on the skin. My hair feels fuller. A little goes a long way with this product.

Nice Clean Shampoo with a bit of zing
This goes on easily and creates a nice lather. The tea tree gives a nice little zip to the scalp, similar perhaps menthol? It rinses out cleanly and my hair feels clean. Admittedly, I really love tea tree products, and I respect that this is not animal tested.
Lovely Scented Shampoo
This is a lovely scented shampoo. Organic in nature without any harmful ingredients. When applied on hair it gave a nice lather, and was easy to work into my hair. It rinsed easily, and did not leave my hair feeling tight or squeaky. What I do need is a conditioner to go with this shampoo. My hair felt full, but at my age I need a conditioner.Recommended. prisrob 07-28-17
Loads of tea tree
Though the listing doesn't mention, of course tea tree is used to treat scalp problems, like dandruff. If the scent is any indication, this shampoo has a lot of tea tree in it! It's almost eye-watering, with the odor, which seems like a combination of tar and mint to me.Other than that, it seems like a decent shampoo. Lather is a little slight, but it cleans well. And, as always, I'd rather it came in a pump dispenser.
Happy Reviewer,
pleasant but manly scent
Reminds me of Aveda, this shampoo has a tingling sensation that feels great. Whatever you do, don't get it in your eyes, however. The tea tree scent is fine, not too strong. But medicinal. After using it, it was difficult to decide what conditioner to use that would compliment it. I'm used to shampoos and conditioners to be in pairs all matchy matchy. This is something I'd use weekly rather than daily. And I think it would suit a man better by the scent and their shorter hair.I worry a bit about it stripping my hair (color treated), but then again, I swim in chlorinated pools. So there's that.
Luisa Remy,
Removes buildup, follow with a conditioner
Organic Doctor is a pretty well trusted brand and this tea tree shampoo is not a disappointment to that legacy. The tea tree is strong, but without the tingle that some shampoos give. This rinses clean and gets rid of buildup without being too harsh on my hair. The scent is light and doesn't stick around which is something I love. My husband mostly just uses whatever I use, so I try to keep the scent down to a minimum for the both of us.I do find myself needing a conditioner with this shampoo. Not because it is too harsh for me, but when something washes as clean as this does I tend to have an over production of oil later in the day.
Patricia Ferdig,
Love the tingle on my scalp, love the smell, great shampoo.
Shannon Zolar,
Good Product
I use this with the matching shampoo and conditioner and have been liking it a lot. It has been hot and humid and I'd say my skin is on the oilier side of things. The shampoo cleans my hair well and leaves it feeling pretty good on its own. Then the conditioner makes it even more manageable without feeling like it is leaving a ton of gunk in my hair. Overall a product that I would recommend.
Nice smell
Overall I liked the Organic Doctor Tea Tree shampoo. It has the nice tea tree smell without being overpowering. It lathers well and you do not need much either. It made my hair squeaky clean. It has a nice tingly sensation on my scalp. The only drawback is it did not give my hair the same amount of volume as my other shampoos which volumizes. This is best for someone who does need big volume, or someone with a dandruff issue.
Invigorating and vegan-friendly
First of all: cruelty-free, vegan-friendly and free of SLS, parabens, GMOs and some of the other chemicals we don't like to slather anywhere on our body. Instead, the ingredient list is user-friendly, featuring aloe vera, apple extract, elderberry, and peppermint in addition to the eponymous tea tree oil.I was not familiar with Organic Doctor so I did a small amount of research and learned that they have a lot of fans in the UK. It's an English brand whose products gradually seem to be washing up on US shores. Now that I know about the line, I am going to be trying more of their products.So...the big question about anything containing tea tree oil: does it smell? I have used straight tea tree oil for medicinal purposes, and the scent of this shampoo is mild and pleasant in comparison. However, if you want your shampoo to smell like butterflies and baby kittens, you are not going to be happy with this product. If you care more about clean shiny hair, and don't mind a shampoo with built-in massage qualities thanks to the tea tree and peppermint, this is worth a place on your shower floor. (My own shower floor tends to become over-crowded, so I'm careful about what gets to stay there.)Note that many of the reviews on this page refer to tea tree skin lotion. Not the shampoo. I may try the lotion at some point, but not for my hair.
JoAnne Goldberg,
Tea. Tree
Works realy good on my husband.
Kay Peterkin,
Greatly-scented shampoo and cleans well!
I enjoy using this shampoo because it really cleans my hair well and has a wonderful scent! It also is pretty natural, without parabens and other chemicals in it.
Definitely buy it
I love the smell and the quality of this shampoo. I have experimented with 8 different shampoos this year and this one sticks out out of all 8 and I love the fact that the main ingredient is actually a natural ingredient.
