I Like this product.
I have oily-combination skin and I use this as and when I am able to fit it in. I have no issues with excess oiliness after using, it helps keep my sebum production quite low in fact, the reason I am giving this a 4 star rating instead of a 5 star rating is, firstly the undisclosed fragrance labelled as parfum and the 6 irritating fragrant components. Although these are quite low, I do not believe they are needed as they can be irritating to someone with sensitive skin.

I like the product.
I highly recommend this product. The serum and eye cream i have used it for two months now and my fine lines are gone and while other people comment that my skin looks so good.

This silky smooth oil is absolutely essential for soft skin.
I am over 60 and would highly recommend this product. It lasts a long time as you only need a small amount to cover your face. Use at night for best effect.

Excellent serum. Fragrance is rich and long lasting. I use it morning and night. The first use irritated my sensitive skin. But on subsequent use it feels fine. My skin feels moisturized all day. I also use this while doing facial gua she to help lift the cheeks and reduce forehead wrinkles.The price is excellent too.

I'm not really sure what this is to be used for. But I know how I use it and I love it. It has a dropper for application, I run 1 application down both arms and both legs. It gives off a beautiful fragrance, and although it absorbs well, it leaves this wonderful almond shine, I truly believe it is assisting my tan. I didn't know what to expect when I received this, and I might be using it wrong. No matter, I love it and the way I use it smells and looks great on my skin.

Petroleum gel works better for me.
It has a strong rose smell, that you will either like or hate. It rubs into skin easily but I found petroleum gel works better for me to repair skin and prevent transdermal dehydration and is more cost effective .

Didn't notice any benefits, a bit of a pain.
Is there some secret method for applying cleansing oils? I always seem to just make a mess, and end up feeling greasy.Despite that, i gave this a good try, and felt no benefits. Plus yes, i know the rose oil is the whole point, but it is a bit of a strong, lingering scent. If you work in a scent-free workplace, this might cause trouble.

Organic Doctor Rose Otto Facial Serum
I have recently discovered that I have to use a serum. I'm in my late forties and have been blessed with pretty good skin genes and have used a SPF moisturizer daily. But the older I get, the more I notice that my T zone isn't as oily as it has been and my cheeks will flake if I don't use a serum.I've used several different ones:DHC, Clarins, Korres, Kiehl's, The Body Shop, Clinique, Lancome, Elizabeth Arden, Estee Lauder, Avon, Vichy and IT Cosmetics.For the price, this is a wonderful alternative to the above. The smell is strong but no one ever said staying in shape (skinwise for me) is easy. It absorbs well. The dispenser reminds me of the Body Shop's serums--not an eye dropper. I've never used this one before but for three days, I can tell a big difference between my cheeks from last week. My rosacea is fading. It didn't cure the rosacea but it's not aggravating it. Maybe it's more moisturizing and the heat doesn't get to it. I don't know but it's a winner

Definitely smells like roses.
Nice fragrance. The smell of roses is really pronounced. I am also intrigued by the bottle. It works like the old fashioned rubber dropper bottle, but instead of the rubber bulb to squeeze, you press the button on top. I like that it says it has organic and natural bioactive ingredients. Lots of different oils. The directions are: In the morning, apply before moisturizing, at night, apply after moisturizing. It also cautions to avoid contact with eyes and to not apply to broken or irritated skin. Store in a cool dry place. it also says Made in the E.U. I haven't used it long enough to see if it lives up to its anti-aging claims, but I will edit my review when I make a determination.

Suprisingly good oil
I've never used a facial oil serum before, but this is fantastic. I'm 37 wtih oily skin for most of my life, but my body has been changing a bit the last year or two (extended time in sun/high altitudes/deserts plus gettin old) and I've been getting some dryness and redness, as well as a few lines starting. My roommate had this, I used it a few times and noticed results very quickly. I hate to use foundation, this moisturizes and brightens my complexion enough so I don't feel the need. I used to use The Firm serum by Jeffery James for this purpose (sometimes with some foundation mixed in) but it's not moisturizing enough these days for me. I've also found it is helping with the occasional acne I still get despite the dryness. I'm looking forward to using this on a more regular basis.I don't find the scent overwhelming, but I like the smell of roses when it's real and not artificial, this to me smells great (I follow it with rosewater spray as toner so full disclosure! I like roses)

Like being assaulted by a rose garden
The glass bottle is interesting. At first, I thought it was a tiny roll-on mechanism, but repeatedly pressing the ball in the top of the cap did nothing. Then I unscrewed it and discovered a glass dropper. The cap is the mechanism for drawing the oil into the dropper and takes the place of the traditional black rubber bulb. It works, once you know what you are looking at.The oil inside seems nice. It is the consistency of jojoba oil, and leaves behind a residue that is more oily than greasy. A little goes a long way, which explains the included dropper.The scent is completely overwhelming. It smells like roses. Thousands and thousands of roses. I like scents and find them fun, but this was like being smothered to death by the Queen of Hearts. I put a little bit on my wrist, and now I'm wondering how to best scrub it off and make it stop.I recommend getting a bottle of pure jojoba oil and a dropper to use with it instead. It will work better and doesn't have a crazy-strong scent. I use this one and love it: Desert Essence 100% Pure Jojoba Oil, 4-Ounce, Bottle Not even if you like roses.Sean Logue, 2017

Excellent product at affordable price. I use three drops at night and two drops in the morning under my usual moisturiser. It leaves my face and neck soft and moisturised. I also like the design of the bottle and dropper. The texture is right consistency without being too greasy.

ProsThere are some lovely oils in here.Hydrates the skin, but can be too oily if over applied.I used the whole bottle and it lasted me a few monthsConsI don't understand why would they add perfume into this oil???Also, i think the product name can be slightly misleading... It's not really a serum, it's an oil.Also, the dropper tends to leak...

It is a relief for people with very try skin. I am using it since years and I don't want to miss it. Especially perfect in combination with the rose toner. Your can massage it in seconds in your skin and than you put your daily cream on it. Skin looks healty.

Lovely product at a good price
A few years ago after using Clinique and Clarins for years I developed a nasty red itchy rash around my neck, chin and face. This became very dry and sore. My daughter who worked for Holland and Barrett at the time recommended Rose Otto. I tried the day cream and it was lovely smells of roses and you only need a little it is light and skin felt soft and moisturised straight away. I then tried the serum which is even better, it leaves the skin very soft and dewy and lasts all day. I now use both twice a day I have tried other dr organic products which are equally as good. But this is my favourite and not over priced like the other brands I was using.
