Recycling Pledge

Our products are inspired by the best of what nature has to offer, and we are further strengthening our ethos to nature by moving to more sustainable and recyclable packaging.

Starting with our Calendula range, our shampoos, conditioners and bodywashes are moving to bottles made out of a minimum 35% PCR (Post Consumer Recycled) material. Post Consumer Recycled material refers to everything we place into our recycling bins, from milk bottles to empty cans to cardboard. The caps on our shampoos and conditioners have also moved to a single packaging material – with no aluminium sleeve – which makes the cap fully recyclable.

PCR Plastic

Starting with our Calendula range, our shampoos, conditioners and bodywashes are moving to bottles made out of a minimum 35% PCR (Post Consumer Recycled) material. The caps on our shampoos and conditioners have also moved to a single packaging material – with no aluminium sleeve – which makes the cap fully recyclable.

Reducing Packaging

We’ve removed secondary cartons from a number of our larger products to help reduce our cardboard packaging waste. The plastic caps on our range of 50ml glass jars will also be phasing to aluminium to help reduce our plastic use wherever possible.

Removing Plastic Wraps

Our soaps used to be packaged in plastic wraps. We’ve removed the wraps and now use a recyclable and biodegradable carton, instead.

PCR & Sugarcane Tubes

Our current range of tubes are transitioning to PCR and sugarcane material.

Protect non-renewable resources

Sugarcane helps to protect non-renewable resources, has a 50% better carbon footprint than a plastic tube, absorbs CO2 from the atmosphere and is 100% recyclable.
